Bushmere Estate was founded in 2005 by David & Shona Egan. All the wines produced under the Bushmere Estate label are single vineyard wines and include varities such as Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gerwurztraminer, Merlot, Malbec, Montepulciano and a small parcel of Sangiovese.
Bushmere Estate Wines focus more on quality than quantity. The 2017/2018 season has delivered some beautiful wines which have been recognised in recent wine shows. The Rose received a Gold at The Royal Easter Show, the ‘Amelia’ Sparkling Pinot Gris gained a Silver at the NZIWS and our 2016 Classic Chardonnay received a Silver in Hong Kong at the Decanter Wine Awards of Asia 2018.
